Creamy Mushroom Tart 🥧
Buttery pastry crust filled with sautéed mushrooms in silky Dijon cream, a bistro starter that doubles as an elegant side.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 1 puff pastry sheet
- 1 lb mushroom
- 3 shallots
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp parsley
- 1 tsp thyme

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Lay puff pastry on a baking sheet and prick with a fork to prevent puffing too much.

Slice mushrooms and dice shallots. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté shallots for 3 minutes.

Add mushrooms and minced garlic, cook for 8 minutes until mushrooms release their liquid and begin to brown.
