Jalapeno Popper Burgers 🍔
All the creamy, spicy joy of a jalapeno popper piled onto a juicy bacon burger.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 3 jalapeños
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper

Cook the bacon until crisp, about 8 minutes, then drain and chop.

Slice 2 jalapeños, remove the seeds, and saute in the bacon fat for 3 minutes until softened. Stir together the cream cheese, cheddar, sauteed jalapeños, and chopped bacon.

Season the beef with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then shape into 4 dimpled patties.

Cook the patties over medium-high heat, 4 minutes on the first side.

Flip, spread a thick layer of the popper mixture on each patty, cover, and cook 4 minutes until the topping is warm and the beef hits 160°F.
