Creamy Bacon Pea Pasta 🥓

- 12 oz spaghetti
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp parsley

Boil the spaghetti in salted water until al dente, tossing in the frozen peas for the last 2 minutes, then reserve 1 cup pasta water and drain.

Meanwhile, chop the bacon and cook it in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat until crisp, about 8 minutes, then spoon off all but 1 tbsp of fat.
