  • 2 lb shrimp
  • 1 lb sausage
  • 4 ears corn
  • 1.5 lb potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 lemons
  • 3 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp cayenne
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 bay leaves

    Fill a large stockpot with 4 quarts of water, add the paprika, cayenne, bay leaves, quartered onion, and 1 halved lemon, and bring to a boil.

    Add the potatoes, halved if large, and boil 10 minutes.

    Cut the sausage into 2-inch pieces and the corn into thirds, add both, and boil 8 minutes.
