Skillet Lasagna 🍝
All the saucy, cheesy layers of lasagna in 35 minutes flat, no boiling, no baking dish, no fuss.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 2 cups water
- 8 oz pasta
- 1 cup ricotta
- 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella
- 0.25 cup grated parmesan
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
- fresh basil

Dice the onion and mince the garlic. Brown the beef with the onion in a deep 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, about 7 minutes, then stir in the garlic and italian seasoning.

Break the pasta into bite-size pieces if using long noodles and add to the skillet with the marinara and water. Stir and bring to a boil.

Reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender, 14 minutes.

Dollop the ricotta over the top, then scatter on the mozzarella and parmesan.

Cover and cook on low until the cheese melts, 3 minutes.

Tear fresh basil over the top and serve with extra parmesan.
