Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 1 lb ziti
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 3/4 cup grated parmesan
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil

    Heat oven to 400°F and boil ziti in salted water until 2 minutes shy of al dente, about 8 minutes, then drain.

    Warm olive oil and minced garlic in a saucepan 1 minute, then add marinara and italian seasoning and simmer 5 minutes.

    Toss the pasta with the sauce, ricotta, half the mozzarella, and half the parmesan.

    Spread into a 9x13 baking dish and top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan.
