Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1 lb sausage
  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 bunch kale
  • 1 onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan

    Chop the bacon and cook in a Dutch oven over medium heat until crisp, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside, leaving the fat.
