Juicy Lucy Burgers 🍔
Minneapolis' famous cheese-stuffed burger with a molten cheddar core that oozes out at first bite.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 onion
- 4 pickles
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Divide the beef into 8 equal balls and flatten each into a thin patty. Season with salt and pepper.

Fold each cheddar slice into quarters and stack in the center of 4 patties. Top with the remaining patties and pinch the edges firmly to seal.

Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Cook the stuffed patties 5 minutes on the first side. Do not press.

Flip carefully and cook 5 to 6 minutes more until well browned and cooked through.
