Pan Fried Tofu with Greens 🥬
Golden pan-seared tofu squares served over garlicky sautéed spinach and kale.
Ingredients (serves 3)
- 1 block extra-firm tofu
- 4 cups fresh spinach
- 3 cups fresh kale
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- Salt and black pepper

Press tofu with paper towels for 10 minutes. Cut into 0.75-inch thick slices.

Heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Pan-fry tofu slices for 4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

Remove tofu and set aside. Add remaining oil to the skillet.

Add minced garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add spinach and kale, sauté for 5 minutes until wilted.

Drizzle soy sauce and rice vinegar over greens. Arrange tofu on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
