  • 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 large apples, cored and quartered
  • 1 large onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 8 fresh sage leaves
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

    Preheat oven to 425°F. Pat chicken thighs dry and season generously with salt, pepper, and paprika.

    Melt butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Brown chicken thighs skin-side down for 4 minutes, then flip and brown for 3 more minutes.
