Baked Chicken Thighs with Sage and Apple 🍎

Ingredients (serves 4)
- 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 large apples, cored and quartered
- 1 large onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 8 fresh sage leaves
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Preheat oven to 425°F. Pat chicken thighs dry and season generously with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Melt butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Brown chicken thighs skin-side down for 4 minutes, then flip and brown for 3 more minutes.

Remove chicken from the skillet and arrange apples, onion, garlic, and sage around the pan.

Return chicken skin-side up on top of the vegetables. Pour chicken stock and vinegar into the pan.
